My Pet Dragonfly

Ok, I agree, it's not my best photo -- but this is really about the story.

A while back my daughter and I were in our yard and this little dragon landed on my hand (I was holding it up for some reason). He stayed there for quite a while and would take off, do a little recon flight around the garden and come right back to my hand. I was able to "hand" him off and switch him to my daughters hand, and he proceeded to use her as his center of the universe. He must have done this over a dozen time by the time we had to go in when the sunset. To this day my daughter gets a twinkle in her eye when she talks about "the dragonfly my dad and I trained". He was around the next couple of days and again adopted us as his "center". After that we never saw him again.
